I have been writing stories and poetry since the age of 12. At the age of 18, I joined the U.S. Marines Corps and after boot camp and schooling, traveled to Okinawa Japan, where I met and married my husband. As of this coming year (2014), we will have been together for 25 years, our silver anniversary.
