Janet Albert was born and raised in Johnson City, New York. A nurse and teacher by profession, she lived and worked in Philadelphia for many years before escaping to a place of quiet solitude in the scenic mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania with her partner and yes, the obligatory two cats.
